“Two holidays in only one”, this is the slogan that identifies best the territory of the town of Mondolfo that bases its own tourist reception on the possibility to use in different ways and, at the same time, in an homogeneous manner two different resorts: on a side Mondolfo, situated as a balcony overlooking the sea, with very ancient origins, adorned with important monuments, some of them have been found recently; on the other side Marotta, ancient village of fishermen that, with the passing of time, has characterized itself for its indisputable tourist vocation and for this reason, today it appears at an excellent level of receptive structures and infrastructures. The town administration of Mondolfo has paid particular attention to the citizen and the tourist, assuring to the town territory standards of quality and living. This goal has been reached also thanks to an effective work of synergies concentrated on the defense of environment, on the education and prevention. The same concepts have found fertile ground also in the planning of the school activities of the territory that, during the year, deal with themes linked to waste materials, saving of energy, importance of water, land, fire and air, involving every order and degree: from the nursery school to the high school.

A territory that can receive visitors with the kindness that has always distinguished tourist operators; a peculiar feature of these operators is the imagination, thanks to which they can propose interesting destinations, such as: the Fortresses by Francesco di Giorgio Martini, scattered along the beautiful Cesano Valley; the Frasassi Caves, real natural beauties; so many towns and small villages where you can still breathe the traditional flavours and nose out among the country lanes so many historic moments, that seem to be magically stopped and impressed in the wonderful colours of gentle hills and a generous sea of shellfishes and visions of another era.
